You can totally cheat and use a boxed brownie mix or you can use my Grandma’s awesome brownie recipe from one of my other blog posts which can be found here. Whichever way you choose, these brownies are sure to be a hit at your next party.
Ingredients
- Make brownies as per boxed directions. Or use my Grandma's brownie recipe (link above).
For the Peanut Butter Frosting
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla (optional)
Instructions
- Make brownies and set aside to cool completely.
- Mix together butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until combined well and mixture becomes a frosting consistency.
- Frost the cooled brownies. There will be plenty of frosting for a nice, thick layer.
- Add mini chocolate chips on top.
